Support the BRF
Your generosity fuels everything we do and we believe every donor should feel connected to the work they make possible. That’s why we offer multiple ways to support the BRF, allowing you to choose the programs that matter most to you. Each fund below represents a specific area of impact, and we’re committed to being transparent about how every dollar is used. You decide where your support goes. We make sure it creates meaningful change.
Brain Resilience General Fund
The BRF General Fund supports the essential backbone of our organization and covers the operational costs that make every program possible. These contributions often go toward behind‑the‑scenes needs such as staffing, technology, insurance, and administrative infrastructure. Even though these costs are not always visible, they are critical for delivering high‑quality neuroscience education, community support, and research partnerships. When you give to the General Fund, you help ensure that our work is safe, sustainable, and effective. Your support strengthens the foundation that allows all of our mission‑driven programs to grow and reach the people who rely on us.
BRF Conference on Concussion, TBI, and CTE in Athletes and Veterans
Every other year, the Brain Resilience Foundation hosts a unique, no-cost conference where athletes, veterans, caregivers, scientists, and clinicians sit side by side, not as subjects and experts, but as equals. Through roundtable discussions, tailored science talks, and open dialogue, we create a space where lived experience meets cutting-edge research. This isn't just about science and medicine. It's about giving the public, who fund this research, direct access to the people doing it. It's about listening, learning, and building trust. Your donation helps us keep the event free, kid friendly, and accessible so every voice can be heard and every perspective can shape the future of brain health.
K‑12 Neuroscience Educational Outreach
The Brain Resilience Foundation’s K–12 Neuroscience Outreach Program brings hands‑on, age‑appropriate brain education directly into classrooms. Through interactive lessons ranging from one‑hour workshops to full‑day events, we teach students how the brain works, how it changes, and how to protect it. Our goal is to make neuroscience accessible to every young learner so they gain the confidence to participate in scientific conversations, explore STEM careers, and advocate for their own brain health. By helping students understand topics like concussion awareness, decision‑making, and healthy brain habits, we empower them to make informed choices in school, sports, and life. Our program blends engaging demonstrations, relatable analogies, and inclusive discussions to spark curiosity and build lifelong scientific literacy.
Monthly TBI Research Newsletter
Each month, the BRF breaks down a recent neuroscience publication, translating complex findings into clear, accessible language for the communities most impacted by brain trauma. Whether you're an athlete, veteran, caregiver, clinician, or simply curious, this newsletter connects you directly to the science shaping tomorrow’s treatments. We highlight real-world relevance, clarify risks and benefits, and invite public dialogue around the research your tax dollars fund. Because brain health belongs to everyone.
BRF Community Brain Health Sessions
BRF Community Brain Health Sessions offer a supportive and accessible space for people who are living with the long-term effects of repeated concussions, including athletes, veterans, and others who often carry these experiences quietly. These monthly virtual gatherings bring participants together with clinicians, scientists, and peers who understand the challenges that can follow repeated head impacts. Each session focuses on open conversation, clear and approachable brain health education, and the reassurance that no one has to navigate these experiences alone. Your contribution helps keep these sessions free and accessible by supporting the professionals who volunteer their time, the technology that makes the program possible, and the outreach needed to reach the people who benefit from this community.
The Cognitive Frontline Podcast
Help us launch The Cognitive Frontline, a new podcast where athletes and veterans sit down with scientists and doctors to talk directly about TBI research and what it means for the people living with brain injuries. Each episode pairs an author from one of our recent newsletters with someone whose life has been shaped by concussion, traumatic brain injury, or chronic traumatic encephalopathy, creating space for honest dialogue, shared insight, and mutual respect. Your donation helps us buy equipment, produce episodes, and keep the content free and accessible to the public. This isn’t just a podcast. It’s a platform for connection, education, and resilience.
Thank You for Supporting BRF
Your generosity helps us build a future where science and lived experience stand side by side. Whether you give to a specific program or support our mission as a whole, your contribution makes a real difference in the lives of students, athletes, veterans, caregivers, and communities seeking trustworthy, accessible brain health education.
We’re grateful for your trust, your partnership, and your belief in this work.
